An Improved Method of Implementing Continuous Wavelet Transform Using Switched-Current Circuit

Abstract:An improved method of implementing continuous wavelet transform using switched-current (SI) circuit is proposed.Trapezoid formula is used to approach numerical integration,and according to this principle,a bank of bandpass filters are improved to approximate the continuous wavelet transform,and implement these filters with SI circuit.The improvement in error reduction is analyzed in detail and we can see clearly the advantages.As an example,the eight channels of Marr wavelet are realized by the biquadratic filters of SI circuit,and the design course and the simulation result are provided,which indicate the feasibility of the improvement.
